and wanted to share how to do with with our readers.
Usually on Create From Scratch, we focus on making food from scratch. But we aren't only about food. We want our readers how to question how everything is made from food to clothes to web design to... anything else we can think of.
There are many free sites that help with making your own font. All you'll need is a printer and scanner and you're set.

Print it and fill it out. There are a few tips and tricks here:
1. Use the entire box for your letters.
2. Keep each letter level on the lines provided. Or else your letters won't be all level when you type them out.
3. Practice on scratch paper.
4. If you want your font to be cursive, this is a bit tricky. To get the letters to connect properly, you'll need to make sure your lines start and end at the exact same place each time. *we recommend printing your first time. Save cursive for another time.
Once you've created your design on paper, scan it and upload it to MyScriptFont.com, name your font and click 'start'.
That's pretty much it! You've now created your own font. To use it, save the file you created to:
c:\Windows\Fonts
Presto!
